FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the production of fluid hydrocarbons from underground wells with a high content of gas fraction and significant volumes of fluid. Method comprises installation of a downhole pumping system inside a wellbore. Said system comprises a motor, a fluid treatment device driven by said motor, and a sensor module. Said motor is connected to a variable speed drive located on the surface. First ratio of gas to liquid in fluid hydrocarbons is measured by means of the sensor module. Signal, representing the first ratio of gas to liquid in the fluid hydrocarbons, is transmitted to the variable speed drive. Electric current is supplied from said drive to said motor to provide motor operation at a first rotational speed. Second ratio of gas to liquid in fluid hydrocarbons is measured by means of the sensor module. Said second ratio is greater than the first ratio of gas to liquid. Signal representing a second ratio of gas to liquid in the fluid hydrocarbons is transmitted to the variable speed drive. Electric current is supplied from said drive to said motor to provide operation of the motor with a second rotational speed greater than the first rotational speed. Fluid treatment device used comprises a nozzle stage comprising a chamber and a measuring element inside said chamber. Said element is made in the shape of a truncated cone configured for axial movement with variation of the open cross-sectional area depending on the content of the liquid fraction.
