FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: pump assembly (108) for use within a high pressure pumping system includes housing (124), front part (128) and base (126). Housing contains at least one centrifugal pump stage (130). Front part (128) and base (126) are attached to housing (124) with corresponding internal threaded connections (140, 144). Front part (128) and base (126) are further retained to housing (124) with corresponding external flanged connections (138, 142). External flanged connections (138, 142) provide redundant connections that reduce the risk of separation between housing (124) and front part (128), as well as between housing (124) and base (126).
EFFECT: multistage flanged high pressure pump assembly is disclosed.
