FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, namely to plant growing. In the method, plants are irradiated in a greenhouse in the ultraviolet UV-C wavelength range. Irradiate during the whole growing season with an average power density with a single irradiation of 3–25 W/m2 single doses in the range of 50–120 J/m2 within 3–20 seconds with a frequency of 1 time in 1–4 days.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the yield and shelf life of fruits.
