SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of control insects. In the implementation of the method of combating a city basement mosquito in residential and basement rooms, fishing and extermination of females are performed using a flat bottom vessel. Area of the vessel is from 0.09 to 1 square meter. Vessel is filled with a transparent non-drying adhesive liquid. Liquid is heated to 10° with higher environment. Female mosquitoes are caught catching a vessel with liquid according to the positive trophism of egg laying after bloodsucking and maturation of eggs in the uterus and to warm water.

EFFECT: possibility of catching mosquitoes throughout the year, regardless of the period of appearance of water in the basement, without the use of insecticides.
