FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the bidirectional power generation device by means of tide. Device comprises plurality of the channel dams 10, spaced apart from each other to form the constant width channel 14, containing plurality of installation grooves 10a, each of which is made by grooves on the facing the channel 14 surface, first and second water intakes 11 and 12, as well as the water-wheel module 20, inserted into the groove 10a and configured to generate electricity using the tidal current motion. Tidal current can move forward / backward along the channel 14. Water intake 11 passes from the dams 10 front end in the tidal flow movement direction and has the form of peaks, in which the water intake 11 width gradually decreases towards the channel 14 front. Water intake 12 passes from the dams 10 rear end relative to the tidal flow movement direction and has the form of peaks, in which the water intake 12 width gradually decreases towards the channel 14 rear.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at provision of possibility of the tide energy efficient absorption.
