FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of information security of negotiations in dedicated premises by neutralizing the leakage channels of voice information through fiber-optic lines and can be used in systems for protecting confidential voice information. In the method for protection against leakage of voice information through fiber-optic lines, which consists in the fact that optical radiation modulated at acoustic frequencies with noise or other special spectrum is introduced into the fiber-optic information transmission channel, while at the ends of the section limiting the length of the fiber-optic line, passing near the protected premises, input/output devices are inserted into the optical fibers of the fiber-optic line, by means of which optical radiation propagating in the opposite direction is extracted from the optical fiber, modulated by a signal at acoustic frequencies with a noise or other special spectrum, after which this optical radiation is put into the optical fiber via input/output devices and transmitted in the opposite direction.

EFFECT: technical result consists in expanded field of application.
