FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry and can be used in determining the nature of saturation of reservoirs. Method of determining the saturation of the reservoir includes performing geophysical studies of the well and laboratory studies of the core, the subsequent calculation using the selected capillary model of saturation of the water saturation coefficients over the section of the reservoir and the construction of the electric model of saturation, which determines the values of specific electrical resistance corresponding to the water saturation coefficients obtained from the capillary model. Then, using the procedure of convolution of electrical resistivity along a section of a formation with a vertical characteristic of an induction logging tool, a model curve of induction logging is obtained. By selecting the parameters of the capillary saturation model, the divergence of the induction logging curve recorded in the well and the curve resulting from the simulation is minimized. Saturation of the reservoir is determined by the capillary model using selected parameters.
EFFECT: improved accuracy and reliability of determining the saturation of the layers.
