FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil-producing industry. Method of thermochemical treatment of the formation includes the injection of an aqueous solution of sodium nitrite into the reservoir in the following ratio of components, wt. %: sodium nitrite 17–46; fresh water the rest, and an aqueous solution of sulfamic acid with a pH of 4.0–5.0 in the following ratio of components, wt. %: sulfamic acid 10–50; sodium hydroxide or aqueous ammonia 8–30; ammonium acetate 1–7; fresh water else. These aqueous solutions are injected into the formation in volumes that provide stoichiometric interaction of sodium nitrite and sulfamic acid.

EFFECT: improving the efficiency of thermal effects on the reservoir by increasing the time to reach the maximum temperature of heating the reaction mixture of aqueous solutions of sodium nitrite and sulfamic acid.
