SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air intakes for cooling a vehicle engine. Air guide (1) for front surface (2) of the vehicle contains channel (3) designed to hermetically direct the air entering front of vehicle (4) into cooling system (5) when air guide (1) is installed on the vehicle. Channel (3) contains mechanical weakness areas (6), forming programmed permanent shape-changing areas, made with the possibility of shortening air guide (1) along the longitudinal axis of the vehicle during deformation of mentioned mechanical weakness areas (6). Further, the walls forming the channel are formed by stepped planes.
EFFECT: improved cooling system safety is achieved.
