FIELD: water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for wastewater treatment in factories for the primary processing of wool. For carrying out the method, electrolysis is carried out in a direct current field, neutralized with an alkaline reagent with aeration, settling in a thin layer, sorption and reuse of treated wastewater. In this case, wastewater treatment is carried out for up to 7.5 minutes at a voltage of about 20 V and a current density of up to 150 A/m2, at temperature not less than 35 °C, and as a sorbent use based on natural aluminosilicate. Purified waste water is partially fed into the electrolyzer and partially to the washing of wool, with no more than 25 % of fresh hot water added to washing the wool.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the efficiency of wastewater treatment from fats and suspended solids.
