FIELD: mixing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for the preparation and cooling of casting molding sand. Device has a mixing tank and a mixing tool arranged to rotate around the drive shaft, for supplying air to the inside of the tank, an air line is provided, the mixing tool has at least two mixing blades spaced apart from each other in the vertical direction, and at least one mixing blade has a mixing plate with a surface inclined relative to the horizontal, the mixing tool has at least two mixing paddles with mixing plates apart from each other vertically, one mixing plate, preferably the uppermost mixing plate, has a surface inclined upwards in the direction of rotation of the mixing tool.
EFFECT: invention provides an improved device with which a more uniform vortex layer is achieved over the entire cross section of the mixing tank, and the fraction of solid particles carried along with the gas stream is reduced.
