FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of piggyback transportation, in particular, to the semi-trailer king pin on the platform car fixing devices. King pin fixing device contains the saddle device, drive with a mechanical transmission and the folding casing. Casing is designed for the saddle device body and mechanisms protection against the external influences. Saddle device contains movable part with the king pin locking mechanism against vertical movements and attached to the platform car frame fixed part. Saddle device provides adjustment in the range of ±190 mm in the car transverse direction and ±350 mm in the car longitudinal direction.
EFFECT: reduction in the semi-trailer on the platform car loading time and labor input.
