SUBSTANCE: invention relates to connector assembly (1) comprising pipe (3), sealing element (5), and plug connector (4) which comprises connector body (6). Connector body (6) has annular chamber (22) which is located between first shell section (12) and second shell section (15) of plug connector (4). Connection section (34) of pipe (3) includes fastening recess (43) and seal receptacle (44), structurally separated therefrom, which are incorporated in circumferential surface (42) of pipe (3). First (12) or second shell section (15) is deformed in the region of seal receptacle (44) in such a way that sealing element (5) is pressed between first (12) or second shell section (15) and seal receptacle (44). Invention further relates to a method for producing connector assembly (1).
EFFECT: invention improves joint reliability.
