FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a connector assembly formed by electrical or fiber optical connectors. Device includes female plug connector (20) for connection to female connector (30) to form a waterproof connector. Plug connector element and the formed connector element are connected to each other, when mentioned plug connector element of a solid urethane material is molded without the mold connector lines. Soft formed urethane connector element is disposed around the portion of the connector member by heat applied in a such way, that the connector element and the formed element are fused with each other along their connecting surfaces, so that the water penetration into the connection of the plug connector element and the formed element is impossible. Sealing ring is located in the annular space formed between the opposing arms of the formed connector element and the plug connector element.
EFFECT: technical result is an improvement of the sealing capacity.
