FIELD: textile and paper.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the textile and light industry, namely to the used for the wool-containing textile materials plaiting composition, which can be used for various range of wool-containing textile materials, first of all, for coarse-woven and technical cloths, intended for the production of outdoors used products. Wool-containing textile materials plaiting composition contains acid, auxiliary component and water, according to the invention, as the auxiliary component contains TiO2-columnar clays, obtained by the titanium polyhydroxo complexes intercalation with the following content of components, g/l: acid 1–3; TiO2-columnar clays, obtained by the titanium polyhydroxo complexes intercalation, 3–10; water up to 1 l. At that, as the acid composition contains sulfuric, or formic, or acetic acid.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the significant reduction in the loss of wool fiber strength under the action of insolation and noticeable increase in the wool material protection effectiveness against sunlight while maintaining the whiteness (lightness) of the wool fiber at the same level.
