FIELD: textiles, paper.
SUBSTANCE: fabric is used for production of articles of general purpose. The proposed method comprises impregnating the fabric at room temperature with the composition containing, g/l: tratskan PGL 8-16; sulphate metal salt selected from the group consisting of copper, aluminium, zinc 1.0-3.0, and water to 1 litre, the subsequent processing of the fabric by drying, heat treatment, pressing and decating. Subsequent treatment is carried out at a speed of 15-30 m/min at a temperature of 110-170°C, at that the fabric comprises at least 25% woollen fibres. The composition for impregnating additionally comprises chinosol in an amount of 1.5-3.0 g/l.
EFFECT: invention enables to increase the period of validity of deodorising properties and to maintain the stability of these properties to repeated washing and dry cleaning.
