SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines. System and method of supplying fuel for the marine engine are disclosed. Fuel supply system for the ship engine comprises: submersible pump 100, which is provided in the tank T for storing the LNG of the ship, for supplying LNG to the engine E of the ship; high pressure pump 200, which receives LNG supplied to it from submersible pump 100 and pumps LNG to high pressure. System has a return flow channel RL, which upstream of the high pressure pump 200 returns the LNG to the storage tank T for storing the LNG, the flow of LNG returned through the channel return flow RL, is regulated to prevent the formation of evaporating gas in front of the high-pressure pump 200.

EFFECT: invention allows to prevent the flow of evaporating gas into the high-pressure pump, thereby preventing system failure and ensuring a stable supply of fuel.
