SUBSTANCE: assembly comprises: a base unit, which comprises a base wall located between two side walls and forming an internal cavity; a cap connected to the base unit in a contact area, the cap comprises a base wall located between the two side walls and forming an internal cavity having a latch; a needle hug and needle combination, said needle hub is attached to the base unit and said needle goes into the internal cavity of the cap, where the side walls of the cap and the side walls of the base unit are configured to form an open peripheral edge and the internal cavity of the cap and the internal cavity of the base unit are configured to form a package cavity. Thermoplastic film is attached to the open peripheral edge and extends along the rear outer surface of the base unit and the rear outer surface of the cap and over the area of contact or interface between the cap and the base unit in order to enclose the combined needle hub and the needle inside the package cavity, and is configured to form a hinge in the area of contact or interface.

EFFECT: invention relates to medical equipment, specifically to combined safe needle assemblies and the package system for a safe needle assembly.
