FIELD: closing containers.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a closing element for closing and/or plugging a container. The closing element (10, 110) for closing and/or plugging a container (100, 200), particularly a bottle, is comprised of: a covering component (13, 113) including a hole (13d, 113d), wherein the covering component (13 , 113) is at least partially made of a conductive material, and a transponder (20, 120) including an antenna, wherein the antenna is located by the hole (13d, 113d) and is located at the same level with, lower than or below the hole, wherein the size of the antenna ø_antenna, the size of the hole in the cover ø_hole and the distance between the level of the hole and the antenna d submit to the following ratio: ø_hole - ø_antenna ≥ 0.2d + 2 mm for d≥0.64 mm (I), ø_hole - ø_antenna ≥ -4.96d - 0.9 mm for t≤d<0.64 mm (I’), wherein t is the thickness of the covering component (13, 113) by the hole.

EFFECT: provided is possibility to read an antenna while simultaneously minimising interference from conductive or metal parts of the closing element for closing and/or plugging a container.
