SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sports equipment, in particular to embedded elements (bookmarks) in a rock crack. Climbing element contains a trapezoidal prism with side faces and the end side in the narrowed part of the prism, a cable passing through two through holes, made in the end side in the narrowed part of the prism, with the formation of a loop outside the end side in the narrowed part of the prism. According to the invention, several L-shaped plates are successively arranged between the end side in the narrowed part of the prism and the loop of the cable, one side of which is parallel to the side face of the prism, and the other side of each L-shaped plate is parallel to the end side in the narrowed part of the prism, the L-shaped plates are installed with the possibility of free movement along the cable passing through two through holes made in the side of each L-shaped plate parallel to the end side in the narrowed part of the prism.

EFFECT: improving the reliability of fixing the embedded element in the rock, expanding its functionality.
