SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mountaineering equipment, in particular to slip-protecting devices, and may be used in sport climbing, high-altitude mountaineering, and search and rescue operations. A design is in the form of a U-shaped thin all-metal plate made of corrosion-resistant steel with hollow tips for the tines and a hole for the attachment system including slings and a retainer.
EFFECT: construction of climbing crampons vertical front cogs protective cover provides for their use on routes with various mountain reliefs and surface conditions, ensures the maximum comfort in use because they may be easily assembled/disassembled.
