SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the wheel gearboxes. Cylindrical out-of-line hub-less gearbox includes the wheel reducer housing and cover, in which a gearbox shaft, two constant mesh cylindrical helical gears, the driving and the driven, are installed. Drive gear is mounted on conical bearings, the driven gear is on the gearbox shaft splines. Wheel gearbox flange is rigidly fixed to the gearbox shaft splines and the wheel brake drum is mounted on it. On the bearings housing the wheel brake cylinder is mounted. In the bearings housing the pads pins are installed, on which the wheel brake pads are installed.

EFFECT: enabling increase in the vehicle ground clearance.
