POLYMERIC REAGENT WITH IMPROVED DISPERSABILITY PROPERTIES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC C08B15/00 C08L1/28 C08L5/00 C08J3/09

Abstract RU 2677205 C1

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water-soluble compositions of water-soluble polysaccharide ethers (hereinafter referred to as polymer), which are used to obtain homogeneous, lump-free polymer solutions by directly introducing the composition into water-based systems. Compositions are used in the preparation of drilling fluids (DF), fracturing fluids (FF), blocking compounds (BC), polymer flooding (PF) fluids. Polymeric reagent with improved dispersibility characteristics is a water-soluble powdered ether polysaccharide in the form of 15–60 wt.% Homogeneous suspension in a medium of a water-soluble organic solvent. Water-soluble powdered ether polysaccharide is chosen from the range: carboxymethylcellulose; carboxymethyl starch; hydroxyethyl cellulose; hydroxypropyl starch; hydroxypropylguar. Limited water-soluble organic solvent is chosen from the range: oxal of grades T-66, T-80, T-92; oxanol. Invention also relates to a method for producing said polymer reagent, which consists in the wet grinding of powdered ether polysaccharide in an environment with a limited water-soluble organic solvent, when this grinding lead by grinding in a ball mill, finger disintegrator, a colloid mill or a homogenizer. Under the Oxanol and Oxal trade names derivatives of 1,3-dioxanes are produced.

EFFECT: limited solubility in water of the dispersion medium ensures the absence of swelling and adhesion of polymer particles at the initial stage of dispersion, followed by the dissolution of both polymer particles and the dispersion medium.
