SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of well perforation. Detonator positioning device for positioning a wireless detonator in a perforator assembly comprises a cylindrical body comprising an open end and a closed end and a central bore configured for positioning the detonator, wherein the central bore is arranged longitudinally at least within a certain length of the cylindrical body, and the central bore includes an expanded portion of the bore, adjacent to the open end of the cylindrical body, a plurality of latches arranged in the direction of the open end of the cylindrical body and at least partially enclosing the expanded bore portion of the central bore, wherein each of the plurality of latches is configured for mounting the head of the detonator as part of the detonator when the detonator is placed in the expanded bore portion of the central bore, and a plurality of legs extending from the cylindrical body towards the closed end of the cylindrical body, wherein each of the plurality of legs is configured for positioning the cylindrical body in the perforator assembly.
EFFECT: preventing unintended initiation.
