FIELD: lighting engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of lighting and can be used in a lighting device to simulate a candle flame. Lighting device comprises a light transmitting element extending along the perimeter and having an inner side wall, an outer side wall and an upper surface arranged so that the light transmitting element defines a cavity. Light transmitting element comprises a light input surface adapted to input light emitted by the at least one light-emitting element into the light transmitting element, while at least one light-emitting element is located around the perimeter, and the surface of the output light, made with the possibility of outputting light from this light transmitting element. In addition, the lighting device contains a partially reflective balloon, at least partially surrounding the light transmitting element and intended to create a reflected image of the light output from the light transmitting element.
EFFECT: creating a compact device that emits light in a wide range of directions.
