SUBSTANCE: invention relates to box (1) comprising plurality of side walls (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d) that are each provided with first horizontal crosspiece (4a) and second horizontal crosspiece (4b), each provided with upper edge (5a) and lower edge (5b) at least locally defining overall height (H) of said first and second horizontal crosspiece, respectively. Said box (1) has first connecting piece (6) that provides an interface between pair of adjacent side walls (2c, 2d) of the plurality of side walls, said connecting piece (6) being provided, for each side wall of said pair of adjacent side walls (2c, 2d), with housing (7) for receiving a part of the corresponding first horizontal crosspiece and with retaining member (8) having an elastically deformable part (9) and retaining head (10).

EFFECT: first connecting piece (6) has at least one end stop (26) intended to come into contact with at least one side face of base (15) so as to hold the side wall with respect to base (15) of box (1).
