SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pivotally connected vehicles with a bridging platform. Bridging platform (21), designed to be located above vehicle joint (22) with an inclination in the longitudinal direction, has rotary plate (25) and connection plate (26) adjoining each other at junction (27) and connected to each other at the junction, so that rotary plate (25) and connection plate (26) when moving vehicle joint (22) are movable with in a folding manner relative to each other. Connection plate (26) has at least one sub-area (31, 32) in which the thickness of connection plate (26) is reduced, so that the connection plate can be deformed in this area when moving vehicle joint (22).
EFFECT: invention relates to a joint of a vehicle, as well as a rail vehicle, especially a tram having a bridging platform or joint system, is easy to manufacture and provides the perception of twisting during vehicle operation.
