FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, neurology, neurophysiology, functional electrodiagnostics, the study of brain network activity (BNA) in case of a brain concussion. In the method, the estimation of the likelihood of a brain concussion is carried out by identifying BNA-related data features, such as an EEG or MEG, to construct a subject-specific BNA pattern with plurality of nodes, each node is an element of BNA-related features, and each pair of nodes is assigned a connectivity weight. Then, the BNA pattern similarity, describing the results of comparing the constructed BNA pattern and the basic BNA pattern, which are specific to the object, is calculated. And the probability of a brain concussion is determined based on the identified similarities with the BNA pattern. Further, a system and machine-readable media are used to implement variants of the method for estimating the probability of a brain concussion.
EFFECT: inventions provide a fairly accurate estimate of the likelihood of a brain concussion in people of different age groups and athletes.
