SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an air conditioner and control method thereof for controlling the exhaust air flow. Air conditioner comprises a housing including a suction port and exhaust port; main fan, made with the possibility of tightening air into the housing through the suction port and the release of air from the housing through the exhaust port; auxiliary fan, which is designed with possibility to tighten in the case of air produced by the main fan; and a controller configured to control the rotation speed of the auxiliary fan to change the direction in which air is exhausted from the housing.

EFFECT: this allows to adjust the air flow direction produced through the exhaust section.
