SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a drilling equipment, in particular, to tools of tool joints of casing joints and hollow drill pipes, requiring reversal of the direction of rotation. Grabber for inserting a flexible fastener into an annular cavity of the tool joint of pipes through a slot in a coupling wall is made in the form of a half ring with a handle at one of its ends located in the same plane with it. Inner radius of the half ring corresponds to an outer radius of the coupling, and on its inner surface there is an annular groove for placing the fastener, ending in a socket for connection with a fastener hook, made at least at one of the ends of the half ring. Socket can be made in the form of a transverse groove intersecting with the annular groove. Grabbing can be equipped with a second half-ring, one end of which is hingedly connected to the main half-ring, and the second - to a quick connection.

EFFECT: reducing the labor intensity and improving the ease of insertion of the flexible fastener into the annular cavity of the tool joint of pipes during its assembly.
