SUBSTANCE: drive unit (2000) for driving belt (10) of closed belt conveyor (20) comprises drive unit (2100) of the conveyor belt, configured to drive belt (10) of conveyor belt (21) in direction (2) of transport, and return drive unit (2200), configured to actuate return (22) belt (10) in opposite direction (3). Drive unit (2100) of the conveyor belt contains drive roller (2120) of the conveyor belt, which is in friction connection with one of the two opposite longitudinal edges (11, 12) of belt (10) of conveyor belt (21) and driven by drive (2110) of the conveyor belt move. Return drive unit (2200) contains return drive roller (2220) in friction connection with one of two opposite longitudinal edges (11, 12) of return (22) belt (10) and driven by return drive (2210). Control unit is configured to control the torque applied by the conveyor drive and/or the return drive.
EFFECT: continuous uniform movement of the closed belt conveyor is ensured without the need for complex belt speed adjustment.
