FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the forest industry, in particular to gripping-cutting devices of timber harvesting machines for thinning. Gripping-cutting device contains a rack mounted on the boom of the manipulator, where the cutting body, the main hydraulic grippers and the mobile gripper-collecting box is mounted. Swivel hydraulic cylinders are installed in a staggered manner on the rack of the gripper-collecting box, therein on the left and right sides. Swivel rods with clamping levers are mounted on the output shafts of the swivel cylinders. At the bottom of the gripper-collecting box rack there is a cutting body in the form of a chain saw.
EFFECT: simplified design of the gripping device.
