Method for processing alarm information is disclosed, comprising the steps of: receiving, by the element management system (EMS), the first alarm message transmitted as a report by the virtualized network function manager (VNFM), wherein the first alarm message contains the first alarm association information, and the first alarm association information comprises at least one of: a first object identifier and a predetermined association between object identifiers; accepting, by EMS, the second alarm message reported by the virtualized network function (VNF), the second alarm message containing the second alarm association information, and the second alarm association information comprises at least one of: a second object identifier and a predetermined association between object identifiers; and performing, by EMS, a correlation analysis of the first alarm message and the second alarm message in accordance with the first alarm association information and the second alarm association information.
