ACID TUNNELING SYSTEM CONTROLLED IN REAL-TIME Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC E21B7/04 E21B43/114 E21B7/18

Abstract RU 2679403 C1

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a system and method for the controlled creation of lateral underground tunnels and monitoring from the surface of their formation in real time. Controlled acid tunneling system for creating lateral tunnels in a subterranean formation surrounding a borehole contains an acid tunneling tool having a rod with a nozzle for feeding acid into the formation, and at least one articulated ball joint for deflecting a bar in a well bore at a certain angle at least one sensor for detecting at least one parameter in the well, and transmitting a signal reflecting at least one parameter in the well to the surface. Control the tool for acid tunneling is carried out by means of a pulsing tool in the equipment of the bottom of the drill string, providing pressure pulses transmitted to the tool for acid tunneling, resulting in the bend of the bar by means of at least one ball-joint in real time based on at least one parameter in the well defined to supply acid in a particular direction.

EFFECT: increase in the surface area of the reservoir to which acid is supplied is provided, which leads to an increase in the side tunnel, helping to reduce friction between the bottom hole assembly and the formation.
