SUBSTANCE: tool for running a casing pipe and a method for running a casing are disclosed. The system and methods include a casing pipe located in a wellbore. The casing pipe has at least one running tool engaging section. The running tool is located within the casing pipe. The running tool has at least one engaging module that can move from a disengaged position to an engaging position and that can move from an engaging position to a disengaged position, and an electronic device located in at least one of the positions on or in the engaging module.
EFFECT: improvement of drill strings and methods of their use for drilling a wellbore and cementing a wellbore in one pass.
