FIELD: rocket equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerospace engineering. Device for the separation of structural elements contains a tensile bolt with a head and a rod located in a cylindrical bore, which passes into a conical one of the shared structural elements, as well as in the aperture of another shared element. Rod is made with an internal cavity with an explosive charge and charge initiator installed in it. Plane of the base of the conical part of the hole coincides with the plane of the bottom part of the internal cavity. Hole in another part of the structure is made in the form of a cylindrical groove with a threaded hole. In a cylindrical bore, a washer and a bushing are installed coaxially with a discontinuous bolt, equal in external diameter and total height to the diameter and depth of the bore, respectively. In the hole of the washer there is a cylindrical knife, the cutting edge of which is made in the plane coinciding with the plane of the bottom part of the internal cavity and the breaking bolt contacting with the rod.
EFFECT: reduction of shock overloads, elimination of damage to surrounding devices and elements of a shared structure.
