FIELD: space technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rocket and space technology, in particular to detonation apparatuses. A universal cutter initiator for on-board detonation separation systems, containing a durable, not destroyed upon triggering, cylindrical metal body with an internal coaxial cavity - a charging chamber in the upper part thereof, placed wherein is an explosive element - an initiating apparatus, and an explosive charge, and with two side bosses located diametrically relative to the body in the opposite lower part thereof with cavities whereto the end elements of non-destructible detonation translators and/or the ends of detonating elongated charges with loaded caps on the faces are led. The body in the middle part thereof is equipped with an additional side boss wherein a piston-type pyrotechnical cutter is mounted with a flat knife at the end of the rod. The internal cavity of the additional boss is connected with the charging chamber by a radial channel from the rear part of the piston. Vertical axial drilling is performed in the bottom part of the charging chamber with a conical transition - an expansion in the direction of the charging chamber until intersection with the horizontal drilling connecting the cavities of the lower lateral bosses. Cylindrical undercuts with metal caps installed therein are made at the outlets of the horizontal drilling in the cavity of the lower lateral bosses. A charge of the explosive is tightly placed in the bottom part of the charging chamber in the horizontal and vertical drillings, the conical transition - expansion, limited from the side of the cavities of the lower side bosses by metal caps, covered from the side of the charging chamber with a metal circle, and made of a cast elastic or plastic injection explosive with a critical detonation diameter not exceeding 0.5 mm.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability, a reduction in the power consumption, an improvement in the mass and dimensional characteristics, unification.
