SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the cosmetic industry and is a method of gradual dyeing hair, which includes stages: a) applying an air oxidizable composition for dyeing the hair on the hair; b) removing an air oxidized composition for dyeing the hair from the hair immediately after application; and c) repeating a sequence of actions comprising steps a) and b) at intervals of time, the air oxidized composition for dyeing the hair comprising: at least one primary oxidative dye intermediate, an air-oxidized paint-forming component with a high content of electron-donating groups in the aromatic ring; and at least one detergent surfactant, where the content of the detergent surfactant in the air oxidized hair dyeing composition is from more than 5 % to 50 % by weight by weight. Invention also includes air-oxidized composition-shampoo for hair coloring, containing: at least one primary oxidative dye intermediate; air-oxidized paint-forming component with a high content of electron-donating groups in the aromatic ring; and at least one detergent surfactant, the content of the washing surfactant in the air oxidized composition-shampoo for hair dye is from more than 5 % to 50 % by weight by weight; and the air-oxidized composition-shampoo for hair dye cleans the hair, and the air-oxidized composition-shampoo for hair dye gradually dyes the hair with repeated use.
