FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cast cold-resistant steels used for casting large-sized parts of road construction machines and mining and metallurgical equipment operated at low temperatures and under exposure to high static, dynamic and cyclic loads. Said steel contains, wt. %: carbon 0.20–0.31, silicon 0.30–0.60, manganese 0.65–0.95, chromium 0.8–1.00, nickel 2.10–2–50, molybdenum 0.30–0.50, phosphorus ≤ 0.01, sulfur ≤ 0.01, vanadium 0.08–0.12, zirconium 0.005–0.02, calcium 0.005–0.02, cerium 0.02–0.08, copper ≤ 0.30, nitrogen 0.005–0.025, iron is the rest.
EFFECT: high crack resistance and increased strength and viscoplastic characteristics at low temperatures are provided.
