FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, specifically to high-strength martensite steels used in making high-loaded articles of cryogenic equipment, for example tanks and pipelines of liquefied gases. Steel contains components in following ratio, wt%: carbon 0.03-0.06, silicon 0.10-0.40, manganese 0.20-0.80, nickel 9.0-10.5, molybdenum 0.30-0.50, copper 0.80-1.50, vanadium 0.005-0.08, niobium 0.005-0.08, nitrogen 0.005-0.025, aluminium 0.001-0.008, cerium 0.005-0.03, zirconium 0.001-0.004, calcium 0.005-0.02, sulphur ≤ 0.025, phosphorus ≤ 0.008, iron - balance.
EFFECT: higher strength and impact elasticity at cryogenic temperatures.
