FIELD: lifting devices.
SUBSTANCE: elevator having an elevator drive comprises a drive pulley, a drive support for holding the drive in a predetermined position, and at least one hoisting cable, as well as an elevator car guided along guide rails. Drive support has a partial annular casing on which the drive rests and which embraces the drive from underneath, and has a holding element that embraces the top of the drive and secures it in the partial annular casing.
EFFECT: invention reduces the dimensions of the drive.
