FIELD: calculating; counting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer equipment. Technical result is achieved by the fact that the distributed information storage system (DISS) consists of k data processing units with the corresponding data storage nodes, including files to be stored. Control unit monitors the availability of the storage nodes, their location, the amount of permissible memory of the storage nodes with the data recovery block. Interaction in the DISS is carried out via a local or wireless network. Physical loss of any storage node (degradation of the DISS) or its inability to connect to the network under conditions of deliberate (imitating) actions of the attacker will result in partial loss or complete loss of information. Lot of information data with calculated redundant data distributed over the data storage nodes allows the data recovery unit to completely restore the lost data files even if one or more data storage nodes fail. Inaccessible storage node may be replaced by another storage node, the available storage nodes together with the newly introduced storage node form a lot of information and redundant data for the entered storage node and re-allocate it (system reconfiguration). Set of distributed data storage nodes is considered as a unified system of storage devices, which provides for the introduction of redundancy in the stored information. In one embodiment, the method (system) of distributed storage of recoverable data with ensuring integrity and confidentiality of information can be implemented using redundant modular codes.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the sustainability of the distributed information storage system.
