SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer equipment. Technical result is achieved due to the formation, when a user selects the first application and the second application working, of a display interface with screen division based on the specified first application and the specified second application, including the initiation of the formation in the multitasking control interface of the preview interface corresponding to the display interface with dividing the screen when the user detects a choice; initiating the formation of a preview interface in a multitasking control interface involves sequentially joining the preview interface of the first application and the preview interface of the second application, whereby the preview interface is divided into a first display area and a second display area in accordance with the sequence of said joints, wherein the first display area displays the preview interface of the first application, and the second display area displays the preview interface of the second application.

EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring the formation of a multi-tasking display interface with screen division.
