FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the silicone elastomer based sealing compositions, designed to operate at temperatures from -60 °C to +200 °C, and can be used in the construction industry, machine building, aviation, shipbuilding, oil production, oil refining, instrument making and other industries. Described is composition for the sealing material manufacturing for detachable and one-piece units and assemblies, containing the structuring and plasticizing red iron oxide agent, characterized in that it further contains the SKTN type silicone polydimethylsiloxane rubber, powdered filler in the form of dry white zinc, polymethylhydrosiloxane water-repellent agent, a curing catalyst consisting of tin diethyldicaprylate and having linear structure polyethylsiloxane liquid, ground powdered talc in the following ratio of components, in weight parts: SKTN type silicone polydimethylsiloxane rubber 95–110; dry zinc white 180–210; red iron oxide 2–4; polymethylhydrosiloxane water repellent 2.1–6; tin diethyl dicaprylate 0.5–1.2; polyethylsiloxane liquid 0.1–1.2; ground powdered talc 0.8–2.6. Also described is the tape sealant.
EFFECT: increased heat resistance, operational stability and reliability of the sealed with the proposed composition units and assemblies.
