FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to traumatology and orthopedics, can be used for the treatment of patients with shin fractures, accompanied by bone defects. Method is carried out in three stages. At the first stage, the fragments are stabilized by an external fixation device, the wound is processed in the area of the fracture with the removal of non-viable fragments. At the second stage, after wound healing in the area of the bone defect, osteotomy is performed in the area of the tibial metaphysis with the reduction of the intermediate fragment to reach the end stop 1 mm per day. At the third stage, the external fixation apparatus is disassembled with osteoendostal decortication and osteosynthesis with a pin with blocking.
EFFECT: method provides high efficiency of treatment and quick rehabilitation of patients due to low invasiveness and ease of execution.
