SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forestry and agriculture and can be used for pre-sowing seed treatment. Device contains a working chamber made of non-magnetic material, an annular inductor and ferrobody in the form of spheres. Spheres are formed in the working chamber in layers in three or more zones in height and have a different diameter in each zone. Inductors are positioned on the surface of the working chamber. Chamber is equipped at the base with a selective grid of flat strip elements with a pitch smaller than the diameter of the sphere from the lower zone in the ratio t≤0.25d.

EFFECT: simplified construction of a scarifier, uniform, sparing, adjustable, unaccented surface treatment of seeds without crushing, increased reliability and efficiency of pre-sowing seed treatment, reduced energy consumption.
