FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to feedstuff production. Method includes planting of maize in the last decade of April to a depth of 6–7 cm, after 5–6 days, winter triticale is sown across rows of maize to a depth of 2–3 cm with a seeding rate of 2.5–3.0 million viable seeds per hectare. Mid-season hybrids of maize are used with FAO indexes range from 401–500, the seeds of cereal crops or bean cultures are sown on the field of crop rotation. At the same time, in the third decade of October on the crushed crop residues of cereal crops dry litter semi-rotted manure in amount of 25–30 t/ha are applied. Then, at the end of April, loosening is performed simultaneously without turning the top layer of soil, mixing crop residues with manure and soil, and introducing seeds with a seeding rate ensuring plant density of 60–100 thousand pieces per 1 ha. Seeding rate is determined by formula: where SR is the seeding rate, kg/ha; G – density of standing plants, pieces/ha; W – weight of 1 thousand seeds, g; L – losses during laboratory germination, %.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the yield of maize hybrids for green fodder and silage in leached black soil conditions of the Western Ciscaucasia.
