FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to passive radiometric systems for monitoring moving small objects. Radiometric system consists of several radiometers operating with overlapping adjacent viewing areas. Synchronously scanning antennas receive radio signals of electromagnetic fields of radiation from several objects in the millimeter wavelength range, according to the scan results, matrices of radio thermal imaging (RTI) are formed. Objects in their movement intersect overlapping zones of view of radiometers. Proposed method allows, on the basis of the segmentation of the matrices of RTI, to determine the vectors of the parameters of the segments and to classify them according to their belonging to moving objects in order to determine the trajectories of motion. Method takes into account the specifics of scanning radiometers by fixing the time points of the formation of segments and takes these moments into account when forming trajectories using the optimality criterion. Additionally, the distances to objects and their spatial coordinates are determined.

EFFECT: improving the accuracy of determining the trajectory of movement of objects.
