FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recording of ionizing radiation and relates to a method for recording the distribution of the intensity of soft X-ray radiation in the presence of parasitic visible and infrared radiation in the spectrum. Method consists in the fact that radiation is passed through a device that builds an image in the recording plane, which is the end surface of optical fiber lines, equipped with a film scintillator that converts the X-ray part of the radiation in the range of radiation that is sensitive to the recorder. End surfaces of the optical fiber lines are set at angles to the recording axis, with a large numerical aperture of optical fibers and sufficient to attenuate parasitic radiation to a negligible level. As an image-building device, a pinhole camera is used. End surfaces of the optical fiber lines are installed at different angles, providing a different X-ray flux per unit surface of the scintillator and, consequently, different luminous intensities. In this case, the intensity of the glow of the scintillators of at least two lines lies in the dynamic range of the recorder.
EFFECT: technical result consists in expanding the dynamic range and increasing the informativeness of the results obtained.
