FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a stepless transmission mechanism. Mechanism of the stepless transmission includes a gearshift housing, having guide grooves, cross-shaped guide grooves and intermediate receiving holes, communicating with guide grooves and X-shaped guide grooves, gear shifting elements having gear selector balls, gear selector rods and sliding gear selector rods, connected perpendicularly with the open ends of the speed shift rods. Sliding rods and shift rods protrude from the end portions of the speed selectors and are slidable inside the cross-shaped guide grooves. Shift rods protrude from the other end portions of the speed selector balls and are slidable inside the guide grooves. Mechanism of the stepless transmission also contains two beveled thrust elements having beveled stop rings with stop annular surfaces made inclined outwards, beveled thrust elements having clamping annular surfaces, made inclined outwards, and ball rings having the shape of a truncated cone and clamped between the clamping annular surfaces, rotors of input power and output power with clamping annular surfaces of input power and output power.
EFFECT: increase in the compactness and efficiency of the device is achieved.
